Change the verification schedule

Set when Cloud-PBS verifies your backups' integrity, from the datastore Retention tab.

What verification does

Verification checks that your backup data is intact: it re-reads the stored chunks and confirms none are corrupted or missing. Cloud-PBS runs it on a schedule so integrity problems surface early.

Change the schedule

Everything is set from the dashboard, no need for the native PBS interface:

  1. Open your datastore.
  2. Open the Retention tab.
  3. Set the verification time, and save.

The result of each run appears in the datastore’s Activity tab, and you can be alerted on completion, see datastore notifications.
