Cloud-PBS TUI overview
Cloud-PBS TUI is a terminal client that guides the backup of a Linux host to a Proxmox Backup Server.
Installation
Install Cloud-PBS TUI and its dependencies with the install script or manually.
Connecting to the PBS server
Fill in the Target screen: repository address, datastore, API token and optional certificate fingerprint.
Choosing the sources
Select the directories to back up from the Sources screen, with a size estimate.
Scheduling backups
Set up recurring backups through systemd timers from the Schedule screen.
Running a backup
Trigger an immediate backup and follow its progress in real time.
Encryption
Encrypt backups on the client side with a key generated by Cloud-PBS TUI.
Browsing and restoring
Browse the datastore backups grouped by host and restore their contents, in full or file by file.
