Do I need to install something specific on my servers ?
No, you don’t.
Just follow few steps to add a storage on existing Proxmox VE servers and enjoy you backups.
What Proxmox version do I need ?
You need a Proxmox version > 6.2-9
Can I upgrade my plan ?
Of course, tell us when you need a storage upgrade and we’ll expand or reduce it for you without data loss. The storage does not grow automatically, so prices are fixed and there are no extra fees.
Is it possible to switch from free trial to paid plan without losing data ?
Of course, that’s why the 7-day trial period is such a good place to start, as it allows you to test the solution while being sure of being able to continue with the same data at the end.
How are encrypted my datas ?
If enabled, your datas are encrypted on-the-fly on the source server using AES 256. The encryption key belongs to the Proxmox VE server (or cluster), and never travels over the network or the Cloud-pbs instance.
No one can access your data.
The downside is: you’re responsible for the key. If it’s lost, so are your backups.
